Never Again
"VIP event, oversold and ripoff combined with lack of parking. I never expected "VIP" to be such a disappointment in life. Stinking Port o Potties were same as GA, NO VIEW of stage unless u wanted to be far from stage in sun on bleachers. No food except some pizza. A laminate neck tag that entrance ran out of...was VIP. Thoughtless to not even cover bleachers for sun protection. GA was where I spent my time. No small map for us on entry, to show where stages were, etc. No signage to say "this way to East stage", etc I could have helped organize this event using common sense. Especially going alone, I cannot express how terribly disappointed and let down I felt. Of course the music itself was the saving grace, even though so overcrowded. The Cult did ok but no encore and we all wanted to hear Fire Woman. Other bands were unreal as always, my friend was sick and gave me her GA Sunday ticket. Set list...not good. In the future, put great headliner bands on BOTH days. Sunday was best, but still so way overcrowded and garbage everywhere-people are pigs at these things, I know that. One more ridiculous item...why have two bands you want to see playing at one time? Lol wow. By the time you hike to another stage, the crowd took over any good spots. The sole reason I chose Saturday was for Motorhead, who ironically cancelled but toured out west instead. That is just wrong of them. Bottom line, not much thought put into this huge event as was previous years. Sunday was best, but still so way overcrowded and garbage everywhere-people are pigs at these things, I know that. I won't go again."
